What to expect when you visit the library:

  • Library visitors will be asked to wear a mask. Masks must cover the nose as well as the mouth. The librarians will be wearing masks as well.
  • Library will be deep cleaned on Wednesdays and Saturdays for your safety and ours.  Between mods, cleaning sprays and wipes will be used.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available and social distancing is expected in the library.
  • One-Way Traffic Flow: The main doors near the James/Classical crossroads is Entrance Only.  Exit the library only through the Burns building doors.
  • The library has new capacity limits. To assist us with capacity restrictions:
    • You may be asked to wait before you can enter. Please visit for the service you need and then leave so others may enter.
    • There is one one chair per table in the library to encourage short, purposeful visits at this time.
    • Computer stations are limited and are firstly reserved for APEX students as the credit recovery room is closed.
    • The Printers have been relocated near the exit so that you can “grab it and go”.
  • Please ask if you need to charge personal electronic devices.
  • Loan periods are still extended and fines are not being charged.
  • Still no eating and drinking, in the library, especially with the mask requirement.
  • All visitors are asked to not enter the library when feeling unwell. Please visit us when you feel better.
