Public Domain Day 2021

January 1, 2021 was 'Public Domain Day' and that means copyrighted works from 1925 are now open!  

In the Public Domain now and free to use are books such as F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway, and Ernest Hemingway’s In Our Time.  Also in the Public Domain are silent films featuring Buster Keaton, as well as music from the jazz standard Sweet Georgia Brown to songs by Fats Waller.
